We have alot of great people who currently volunteer to help us run the shop, cafe & functions ❤️ Being a small business, our volunteers are a huge part of our business & the hours of their personal time they give up each week to help us out means everything to us. Without their help & dedication we would not be able to operate in the way we do.

We have had a few spaces open up for new volunteers to join our team. If you have a few hours to spare on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday afternoon between 12pm-3pm we would love to hear from you ☺️ This can be either in the kitchen or out front whatever you feel more comfortable in doing, training will also be given. A hot drink & a bite to eat will be given while on shift.

If you would like to join our great team please so not hesitate to get in touch ❤️

Check this out! Worth the boat trip!

🗺️This is the historic North Foghorn on Ailsa Craig! Built in 1886 by the Northern Lighthouse Board, this massive engineering feat was designed to blast warnings to ships navigating the treacherous, foggy waters of the Firth of Clyde. There is also one at the South of the island.

🚢 Powered by heavy gas and diesel engines, this horn (along with its twin on the south side) was so powerful its deep blast could be heard all the way on the Ayrshire mainland—nearly 40 kilometres away!

🥌 The rugged cliffs behind this rusted relic are made of rare "blue hone" granite, the exact material used to craft premium Olympic curling stones.

Silenced forever in 1966 due to modern radar technology, the horn now stands as a hauntingly beautiful monument, shared only with the island's thousands of nesting seabirds and seals. 🦅🌊

It may be a farm, but your pups do have a space for zoomies off lead in our fenced orchard.. it even has its own fire pit area so you can all be together around the fire in the evening!
