Maesnewydd Cottage This 1 bedroom holiday let is just outside Meifod, nestled in the Meifod Valley.

We would like to say a huge thank you for all the guests that have come to stay in our cottage. We have been making changes and have decided to withdraw the Cottage from a holiday let and revert it back to a residential property.

This has been a tough decision as we have loved hosting guests who have come to enjoy the local countryside as much as we do .

There are many local holiday lets in the area, so please think about Meifod as a great holiday destination.

We would like to welcome the newest addition to the cottage for all guests to enjoy. Our new seating area is equipped with outdoor lighting, a lantern candle, waterproof cushions and a hook for dog leads if needed.
We hope everyone enjoys the new outdoor space.

Whilst visiting Wales, why not explore the castles dotted around the country. Wales is believed to have more castles per square mile than any other country in the world.
The closest to Maesnewydd Cottage is Powis castle which boasts Britains oldest and one of the last, true formal baroque gardens and is the most visited National Trust property in Wales.

Maesnewydd Cottage is a 1 bedroom cottage which sleeps 4 (double bed & sofa bed in the lounge).
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer & tea towels.
Bedding is provided for the double bed (& sofa bed) which has a large wardrobe to store all your possessions & a bathroom accessed off the landing with a bath (no shower due to the slope of the ceiling), toilet & basin.
Towels are provided.
