Head to the village hall for a cuppa while wandering at the fish festival this Saturday!

Excitement is building at the hall with the Fish Festival fast approaching. The hall is open between 11am and 4pm this Saturday for coffees, teas, cakes and lots of other tasty things!
Please come along if you can to rest your weary legs, enjoy a fine piece and help raise money for the hall and for our brilliant community cafe.

It’s a beautiful day at Wairds Park and the caravan and camp site is fully booked for the weekend. Thanks to everyone for choosing to stay with us!!

CAR PARKING

A reminder to users of the club room and sports facilities at Wairds Park. Parking is limited and used by many different members of the community and visitors to the park. We ask all users to park safely, respectfully and mindful of other users. There is also car parking adjacent to the football pitch on Beach Road and street parking on Castle Street for those who are able to use.

Thank you to all users for their help in ensuring all can access the facilities.

While we may have (the best) staff running the day to day operations at Wairds Park, we could not do it without the support of our committee. These volunteers give their time and knowledge to help the caravan park and community facilities run smoothly. From gardening jobs, to keeping the accounts right, to making the big decisions for Wairds Park for now and for the future and everything in between.
