😅 I've Had Worse Mondays… – Redford Edition

A delivery driver turned up with a rather large delivery for one of our customers.

The customer had already told us:
"If I don't answer, could you ask the driver to take it to the van?"

No problem.

Driver arrives, so we politely ask if he could take the delivery over.

His reply?

"Sorry, my van isn't equipped for that."

Now, me being me, I couldn't help myself...

"Equipped?"

"So... did you drive it here on the roads?"

"Well, yes, of course."

"Right... so your van is equipped to drive on the road to get here, but not equipped to drive on the road to the caravan?"

There was a brief pause while the maths was done.

End Result:

✅ Customer got their delivery.

✅ Driver discovered his van was, in fact, equipped to drive to a caravan.

✅ Reception didn't end up looking like a distribution warehouse.

✅ I got today's dose of confusion before lunch.

Honestly, it only happens to me. 🤦‍♂️😂

I’ve Had Worse Mondays… 😅

Driving into work this morning, I spotted a little brown blob slowly moving across the road.

At first, I thought it was a leaf.

Then it moved.

It was a hedgehog. 🦔

So I stopped, put my hazards on and waited for him to cross.

A driver coming the other way saw me sitting there in the middle of the road and stopped too.

Now there are two of us... blocking a road and a crossroads... while one tiny hedgehog takes the scenic route across Pembrokeshire. 😂

Eventually he reaches the other side...

Stops...

And just stands there.

As if to say:

"Phew... that was a long walk." 😮‍💨

The other driver and I looked at each other and burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, everyone behind us was staring like we'd completely lost the plot. 🤦‍♀️😂

End result:

• Hedgehog — safely across 🦔✅
• Traffic — mildly confused 🚗😂
• Me — late for work ⏰
• Everyone else — questioning our sanity 🤣

Honestly... it only happens to me 😂
