“Get plastered with Dan” is a young, fresh and vibrant company created by Newport based Dan Cranshaw. I was just 13 years old when I first started on a young apprenticeship course

ran by the school at the Isle of Wight College in which I gained a BTEC First Diploma in construction. Upon leaving school I completed 5 years at the Isle of Wight College where I spent 4 years obtaining an apprenticeship. Within my apprenticeship I was given the opportunity to work abroad in a French ski resort called Val D`isere. I also attended the Construction Skills College in Stoke on Trent where I received an accredited City and Guilds in plastering. Plastering is considered by many to be an art form, as even the most professional builders will not tackle a plastering job, preferring instead to recruit a professional plasterer.
