Our favourite coffee stop for our little one ☕️💛

We always head to Saltd Cafe in Newquay for a relaxed coffee, tasty treats and a toddler-friendly vibe — it’s one of those places that makes holiday mornings feel easy and fun 🥐👶

Great coffee for us, yummy bites for tiny tummies, and a chilled atmosphere that’s perfect for family time. It’s also dog friendly, so the whole family is welcome 🐾

A cosy, friendly café just a short stroll from the centre of Newquay with excellent coffee, tasty breakfast and lunch options, smoothies and treats — perfect for a relaxed stop during your holiday. A trip to Malcolm Barnecutt’s Bakery is a must while you’re staying in Cornwall — fresh sandwiches, warm pasties and the best grab-and-go goodies for a beach day 🥪🥧

It’s less than 5 minutes in the car or a lovely 35-minute walk if you’re feeling like some fresh coastal air 🌊🚶‍♀️

We love packing up a Barnecutt’s haul and heading straight to the coast for an easy, no-fuss lunch with a view 💛

Simple, delicious, and very Cornish 🇬🇧

Malcolm Barnecutt’s Bakery is a well-known, family-run bakery in Cornwall, famous for its freshly baked goods, savoury pastries, sandwiches, cakes and traditional Cornish treats. It’s a proper local staple and a go-to for beach picnics and easy lunches across the county.

A laid-back beachside spot serving delicious food and drinks all day - from brunch and tasty bites to sweet treats and refreshing cocktails 🍽️🍹

It’s also dog friendly, so your four-legged friends are welcome too 🐾

And if you time it right, it’s one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset over the Atlantic — golden skies, crashing waves, and pure coastal magic 🌅

Fresh, golden and best enjoyed by the coast — it’s a true favourite here in Cornwall. Perfect for an easy dinner after a day at the beach, watching the sun go down and soaking up that salty sea air 🌊

Simple, delicious, and part of the Cornish experience 💙

This dinner was from flounders, one of ours and the locals fave. A beloved, family-run fish and chip takeaway in the heart of Newquay, known for its award-winning traditional fish & chips with flaky fish, crispy batter and generous portions — perfect after a day at the beach near Fistral.
