At Gordale, I am just coming into the world of online, starting with my own page, and, coming soon will be my own website for Gordale Scar Camping. I'll let you know when it's ready. In the meantime, please do not contact me online, please use the landline and leave a message.
Unfortunately, I can't have the proper name of Gordale Scar Campsite, as lots of other people have already claimed it, both on the web and on facebook! None are with my permission, but they're all great for looking at pictures, even if the information isn't always correct!
For this year I am not taking bookings for camping, but you can always ring up and get the answerphone, leave a message, but I may not always get back to you. I do still take Duke of Edinburgh students, please ring first, but everyone please note the limitations.
The major factor is the facilities I can provide currently, and those are (a) there are only two unisex toilets available in the original Gents part of the building; (b) there are no showers or washing facilities; (c) for drinking water/washing up water there is a single tap outside the toilet building; (d) chemical toilet emptying is under a manhole cover in the field. Access to the field is via the farm entrance at the house - please do not open the field gate from the road.
What I'm going to be doing with the campsite next year, I still need to decide!
