𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻✨

Last Friday, guests joined us for A Woodland Feast, beginning with a guided walk through the estate and the opportunity to hear from Alan Power before making their way to a woodland clearing lit by firelight and candles.

As evening settled across the estate, Chef Alex Firman prepared a seasonal feast over an open fire, celebrating local ingredients and the flavours of autumn. Acoustic music, crackling fires and the woodland setting created an evening shaped by the season and the landscape around it.

From the walk through the grounds to the final moments gathered around the fire, it was a memorable way to experience Wolterton after dark.

Join 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗸𝗿𝗲𝘁, accompanied by a pianist just a few feet from your table, for a very special evening in the Saloon at Wolterton Hall.

The performance will be interwoven throughout the evening, bringing performer and audience together at close quarters in a setting made for this kind of occasion.

🍂 As autumn arrives, the 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 are already preparing next year's borders.

Pictured here is Liz, one of our volunteers, soaking plants before they go into the ground, a simple technique that helps them establish more successfully once planted.

It's one of the many 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 while helping to care for the estate through the seasons.

If you joined us last year, you'll know there's no single way to spend a day at the Wolterton Wellness Weekend.

You might begin with an energising class, head to the lake for a swim, join a workshop, or find a quiet spot in the parkland before deciding what comes next.

On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 June 2027, the Wellness Weekend returns with a varied programme unfolding across the Hall, woodland, parkland and ten-acre lake.

All sessions are included in your ticket, giving you the freedom to shape a day, or a whole weekend, around whatever interests you most.

Set throughout Wolterton’s private parkland, woodland and ten-acre lake, the weekend offers two days of movement, relaxation, discovery and time outdoors.

Choose Saturday, Sunday or the full weekend. Your ticket gives you access to the day’s programme, including yoga, Pilates, fitness and movement classes, meditation, sound experiences, wellbeing workshops, wild swimming, paddleboarding and wood-fired sauna sessions.
