Irondale is just 3 minutes from M1 Junction 25, with straightforward access from the motorway.

Meet Ken. 🦅

He's probably our most unusual member of staff.

Ken is the Harris Hawk who lives at Irondale — and apparently he's become a bit of a favourite with our campers!

One guest described seeing him “watch over you”, while another called him “a real bonus.”

But Ken isn't the only reason people enjoy staying here.

After a long day driving, working or exploring, the last thing you want to do is get back in the van to find somewhere for dinner.

At Irondale, you don't have to.

The Chequers Inn sits right alongside the campsite, so you can park up, head into the pub for a drink and enjoy some proper home-cooked food before simply strolling back to your caravan.
