☀️ HEATWAVE UPDATE ☀️

Due to the extreme heat, we have taken the decision to close our kitchen for lunch service today.

We will reassess the situation later this afternoon and provide an update regarding this evening’s food service as soon as possible.

We will, however, remain open and serving all your favourite chilled drinks throughout the day.

To help everyone stay safe in the heat, we also have complimentary water available on the bar to keep you hydrated.

The safety and wellbeing of our team is our utmost priority, and we appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

With the warm weather set to continue this week, we’ve put out jugs of ice-cold water at The George Inn, Hatherleigh for anyone who needs a refreshing drink.

Whether you’re out exploring the town, walking the dog, working nearby, or simply making the most of the sunshine, please feel free to help yourself. No charge, no catch – just a cold drink whenever you need one.
