Took a walk from Balley Beg yesterday to the nearby Groudle Glen. It was freezing cold as evidenced by the icicycles on the river bank. Stunning picture. What a contrast to the week before on our walk round the coastal footpath near Peel.

There is a beautiful new Indian Restaurant opened in Onchan. Lovely setting, excellent service and superb food. The restaurant is called Ghandi. It is a 5 minute walk from Balley Beg. We would recommend it. It is unlicensed so you can take your own drinks with you.
