Some stories feel like they were meant to happen ❤️

We’re delighted to share that the very first guests to stay in The Lambing Barn were Graham and Tanith Jenks, along with their dog Barney.

For Graham, this visit was especially meaningful. His parents ran the original Sunray in the early 1970s, and The Lambing Barn itself was once his childhood den, a place filled with memories from growing up here.

More than 50 years later, Graham returned to stay in the very place where those memories were made. To make the weekend even more special, he spent Saturday evening in The Sunray pub sharing a meal with childhood friends who still live locally.

After four years of bringing The Sunray back to life, it’s hard to imagine a more fitting first chapter for The Lambing Barn. A wonderful full-circle moment and a reminder that The Sunray has always been about people, community and creating lasting memories.

Thank you Graham, Tanith and Barney for being part of The Sunray story.
