The B&B opened a few weeks ago, and the Kettle House and camping are now both open again too - and we've even had our first brave campers of 2026!

Campers have use of the Kettle House during their stay, and it's there for passing walkers help themselves to hot drinks and cakes for donations. We're supporting for the third year, and our second charity this year is .

Looking forward to seeing walkers and campers throughout the year - and if you come now you can pick your own fresh wild garlic!

The snowdrops and crocuses might be nearly over, but every day there are more signs of spring to see (as well as the frogs!) It may have been "a bit" damp recently, but all our guests are still enjoying wandering around the gardens and land, and soaking up the peace of the valley.

Favourite shop in Oswestry!

We’ve come a long way together - we opened these doors for the very first time 16 years ago today. Big thanks to everyone who has been part of the Booka team at some point and to everyone who has shopped and supported the bookshop. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We will be celebrating on Bookshop Day - Sat 11 Oct in both Oswestry and Bridgnorth with 10% off book and gift purchases, birthday treats, special offers and prize draws.
