We love finding little things like this after a stay. ❤️

A handwritten card left behind by our latest guests.

We put a lot into Tanat House, so hearing that people have had a brilliant time here really does mean a lot, especially when someone takes the time to leave us a note before they go.

Knowing that the house has been the setting for family get-togethers, celebrations, weekends with friends and time together is exactly what we hoped for when we created it.

Thank you. We’ll be keeping this one. ❤️

Autumn couldn’t quite make its mind up this morning… 🌧️☀️

Rain sweeping across the valley one minute. Blue skies and sunshine breaking through the next.

But that’s the thing about the view from Tanat House - it doesn’t need perfect weather. The landscape changes with it, and sometimes watching the weather roll through the valley is part of the experience.

A slow Sunday morning, a cup of coffee and nowhere you need to be. Beautiful views, whatever the weather. 🍂

“We’d love to take the dog… but we can’t leave him all day while we’re at the wedding.”

Sound familiar? 🐾

It’s one of those little dilemmas that can make taking your dog on a group getaway tricky. You want them there for the walks and time together, but there might also be a dinner, wedding or day out where they simply can’t come along.

So we loved receiving these flyers from Holiday Hounds for our Tanat House welcome pack.

They can come to Tanat House and look after your dog while you’re out, meaning you get the best of both worlds - your dog gets to come on holiday too, without you having to plan every part of your stay around them.

We love being able to introduce our guests to brilliant local businesses. For us, it’s about more than simply providing somewhere beautiful to stay; it’s about building a little community around Tanat House and sharing the local people, places and services that can make a stay here (and in Shropshire) even better. ❤️
