Relax and unwind at this romantic retreat, a luxury lodge on a Christmas tree farm in Marldon village in the ideal location for beach trips, picturesque walks, and exploring popular towns and attractions. The stylish lodge has been fitted to a very high standard and makes a beautiful hideaway. Step into the inviting open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. Cook delicious meals in the kitchen, with contemporary cabinets and everything you need, then enjoy romantic meals at the dining table before snuggling up in front of the wood burner and watching a movie in the lounge. Head to bed in the gorgeous king-size bedroom, where you can watch TV in bed, with a shower room with a walk-in shower next door. Wake up to fresh coffee and take it out onto the patio via the French doors, sit and admire the views then get the BBQ going for dinner, and relax under the stars in the hot tub in the evening.
Head to the sandy beaches of Paignton (less than 3 miles away) for seaside walks, entertainments, and fresh seafood. The quirky town of Totnes (5 miles) is home to unique shops, places to eat out and grab a coffee. Spend a day visiting Dartmouth’s many attractions (10 miles away if you take the Kingswear to Dartmouth ferry across the river), including Dartmouth Castle and Britannia Royal Naval College, and take a ride on the Dartmouth Steam Railway. Get out and explore the stunning scenery of Dartmoor National Park (12 miles) on foot.
