We've been out counting butterflies for the Big Butterfly Count. 🦋

From Friday 17 July to Sunday 9 August, Butterfly Conservation is encouraging everyone to spend 15 minutes recording the butterflies they see to help monitor the UK's butterfly populations.

We're lucky to have a wide variety of species visiting our meadow throughout the season.

Here are a few of the butterflies we've managed to photograph over the years (although not all were taken during this year's count).

We can often see bats darting around above our heads at dusk at Meidrim Meadows. We will definitely be joining in the survey.
