Drifters Cottage has everything you need for a great family holiday and is extremely dog welcoming and we have 3 enclosed gardens the back is the most secure to keep them safe.

We are dog owners so know what it takes to make a fantastic holiday.
Drifters Cottage Holiday Let is in Pembrey Carmarthenshire. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and safety and have extremely happy guests who return year after year.

Just 1 mile to Pembrey Country Park with its own range of activities, woodland walks and 8 miles of blue flag beach.
1.25 miles to Burry Port town, harbour, RNLI center, lighthouse, beach, cafes, takeaways, shops and the train station.
You can cycle or walk along the millennium coastal cycle path, with stunning views across to the Gower Peninsula.
There are plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and dog-friendly cafes in the local area and there is a lovely cafe/deli across the road and the pub is 2 minutes walk. We are also perfectly placed for a day trip to the Gower, Tenby, Saundersfoot and Kidwelly Castle amongst other places.

🛌 Our spacious main bedroom has a lovely comfortable king size bed with views across to Pembrey Country Park and twin bedroom equally as comfortable. We sleep 4 people plus baby in a travel cot

🚙 Private parking for one medium car and plenty of on road parking
🥘 Fully equipped kitchen
🛀 New spacious family bathroom with bath and shower and a downstairs WC
🐕 3 medium dogs free please ask if more dogs - I've had 6/7 spaniels
🍻 Several pubs and restaurants within walking distance the closest 2 minutes walk and a lovely cafe/deli over the road.

At Drifters Cottage yours, your dogs and children's safety is important to us. We have done our best to make our 3 gardens as secure as possible so that you can relax when on holiday here. I have taken photographs and put descriptions of the height of fences and walls in the back garden. 3 lovely gardens they 2 are small 1 medium and perfect for most families. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
We are also fully compliant with all fire and safety regulations

I don't need to say too much as their guest book entry says it all. Wilfreds first holiday and its safe to say he loved it as much as his brothers and sister before him although I'm sure Kipling will have told him about Drifters Cottage Holidays with him already had a holiday here with Herbie.
I've added a little collage from Herbie and Maisie's holiday in 2022. Both special spaniels who loved Drifters Cottage, woodland walks and our beaches, they are both dearly missed 🌈

We have 17th to the 31st July and 7th to the 14th August availability until October.

Your dog doesn’t care if you’re “just popping into the shop quickly”. 🐾

What feels warm to us can become unbearable for pets in minutes inside a vehicle.
☀️ Shade moves
🚗 Cars trap heat
🐶 Dogs can’t cool down like humans

If in doubt, leave them at Drifters Cottage when here with water and a cool space instead.
The last photo is so rare never seen by me in almost 9 years. I hope it makes you feel cool 😎 ☺️ 😆 🤣

The beach here us perfect for Wilfred's recall training.
They visited Saundersfoot after a trip to the beach at Pembrey Country Park today.
Weather is lovely, not too hot thankfully.

We are home after a fabulous weekend of celebrations. Will probably share photos at some point 😉🥰
We are off to this gorgeous venue today to celebrate the wedding of our beautiful daughter Jasmay and our soon to be son in-law Ollie.

If anyone contacts me i'll obviously be out of office but I will get back to you after the weekends happy celebrations 🍾 👰 👔 💐

Bella, Maisie and twinkle settled in nicely they all loved our cottage, the beaches and the country park. They enjoyed a day trip to Tenby and their human dad enjoyed a day at Ffos Las racecourse. They enjoyed several meals at The Ship Aground and our local cafes.
It's so lovely to hear from guests saying they've had a really nice holiday.

The Pembrey Country Inn has re opened with new managers after a short closure and are starting to do food again.
