Last weeks guests had a lovely holiday they are return guests as they love it so much.
Bobbie is so settled in after a short while of arriving she loves it so much and is looking forward to Kidwelly market and a visit to Kidwelly Castle. 🏰 ⛱️ 🌞 🐶🏠💖

Booking normally run from Friday to Friday.
Occupancy is up to 4 plus a baby. Exceeding the could invalidate our insurance. There is a travel cot used at your own risk - cot bedding not supplied
We welcome dogs usually 3 medium but more by arrangement, our insurance excludes damage by dogs you will be responsible for the cost of any repairs caused by them.
Check in is from 3pm - Depart is at 10am to allow for cleaning by housekeepers
25% Deposit require to secure booking – non refundable
The remainder is due 8 weeks before including the security deposit between £150 and £400. We advice you to take out holiday insurance lots of banks provide this.
If you decide for reasons not related to government guidelines to cancel your holiday our normal terms apply. If we are able to rebook your stay we will refund you 75% of the booking price achieved less the deposit paid, this will include a security deposit. In the unfortunate event we have to cancel your stay our liability is limited to repaying payments you have made. Anything beyond my control will not be refunded unless I agree if you decide to leave early. I will refund any security deposit as per usual terms and what I have saved on unused utilities.
Please strip bedding on departure if you are able to and leave property in a reasonable condition. If there are damages please let us know as early as possible so we can rectify them before the next guests arrive.
If you are bringing pets please clean up after them and clear up any p**p from gardens and dispose of it (there are dog bins on most walks). Dogs are allowed on furniture but please bring lots of throws, no dogs on beds unless you provide all bedding. Please inform me if you are allowing dogs on beds. And which beds you want made up. Any savings from laundering go to dogs in need.
Please do not leave pets in the property unattended without prior permission.
No smoking inside the property or the gardens.
Strictly no charging of electric cars or E bikes from the property – if found to be doing so you will lose your security deposit, there are charging points at Burry Port, Pembrey Country Park.
Beds will be made up unless you want dogs to sleep on the beds, please pack your own beach towels and throws.

Drifters Cottage is a stunning and quaint yet modern cottage situated in Pembrey Carmarthenshire.

Drifters Cottage has everything you need for a great family holiday and we are extremely dog welcoming and we have 3 enclosed gardens the back is the most secure. To keep them safe we have a wall around (minimum 5.10) and gate with no little gaps

We are dog owners so know what it takes to make a fantastic holiday. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and safety and have extremely happy guests who return year after year.

Just 1 mile to Pembrey Country Park with its own range of activities for all ages, woodland walks and 8 miles of blue flag beach with a walk to the shipwrecks.
1.25 miles to Burry Port town, harbour, RNLI center, lighthouse, beach, cafes, takeaways, shops and the train station.
You can cycle or walk along the millennium coastal cycle path, with stunning views across to the Gower Peninsula.
There are plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and dog-friendly cafes in the local area and there is a lovely cafe/deli across the road and the pub is 2 minutes walk. We are also perfectly placed for a day trip to the Gower, Tenby, Saundersfoot and Kidwelly Castle amongst other places.

🛌 Our spacious main bedroom has a lovely comfortable king size bed with views across to Pembrey Country Park and twin bedroom equally as comfortable. We sleep 4 people plus baby in a travel cot
🌺 We have 3 enclosed Gardens. 2 small 1 medium behind the parking bay.
🚙 Private parking for one medium car and plenty of on road parking
🥘 Fully equipped kitchen
🛀 New spacious family bathroom with bath and shower and a downstairs WC
🐕 3/4 medium dogs free. I am happy to have more dogs - I've had 6/7 spaniels so please look at my garden so you can decide.
🍻 Several pubs and restaurants within walking distance the closest 2 minutes walk and a lovely cafe/deli over the road.

Dexter has had a lovely holiday at Drifters Cottage, he's enjoyed Zoomies on Pembrey beach and Country Park and playing with his new friend in the Pembrey County Inn. His family have enjoyed meals out, takeaways and they loved our cottage and gardens as much as Dexter has.

This is the handsome Dude Dexter very soon after arriving at Drifters Cottage, he settled in straight away and had a lovely walk and went to Pembrey County Inn which Dexter loved as he made friends with the dog who lives in the pub, they had great fun running around 😀

Another lovely guest book entry from happy guests who stayed last week. I spoke on the phone and they said they love our cottage its so homely, well equipped and secure for the dogs they have had a great holiday with lots of local walks.
