I was back working for mull charters today as Martin had a hospital appointment and Blair was playing in a rugby tournament.
It’s great to be out on the water and seeing the eagles up close, lots of visits from many birds this morning with a photo 6
Then this afternoon we had a group who came by boat from Ireland this morning and are heading back after tour with us that’s huge commitment.
We had great action from compo who is feeding his family.

I had surprise from my wife the other week to go on the Waverley steam boat the only one running.
We did the trip from Craignure to Crinan canal then at high tide we sailed through the corryvreckan wold pool.
Wow what a place to go through, then back to Oban and then Craignure, can’t believe how fast this 80 year old boat is 30 minutes from Oban to Craignure, Isle of Mull ferry 50 mins yep it some what bigger, and the frisa take 60 minutes.
If you get chance to sale on this boat highly recommended and the fish and chips from cafe and amazing.

Great day with young kids love showing them wildlife but also history and geology, a few pictures from this week chicks lambs eagles cows and of course you don’t always get the shot.

Day of fixing trailer and garden maintenance at home and mums.
But yesterday we spent quite a bit of time watching young family’s this is an oysters catcher with her two chicks she started with 3,
I have shown lots of my guests the mother sitting on her nest. Back out tomorrow I hope I don’t see any more drones flying near sensitive places I’ve had several incidents where people didn’t know the rules.
You need the land owner permission to take off
and land in Scotland and you should have a licence.

Today was land and sea tour day , a day of eagles but the day started with otters, we had a great time watching this otter then we had great time watching young chicks on the shore line.
Then on to afternoon trip with mull charters I was back as crew for this trip standing in for Martin as Alex took the controls .
So with two hats on as wild mull tours and mull charters crew and guide, I really enjoyed talking to the guests and it only took 4 minutes till we had the first eagle ( wilderness male)
From the water mull takes on a hole new perspective, we then had several takes over the next 2 hrs . Thanks mull charters.

Was nice to get out of the wind in Carsaig, the sea pinks look stunning on the old pier you can see it’s know quite dry with the water fall behind the telephone box.
Great views of the white tail eagles sitting in the tree and feeding chick.
The golden eagles didn’t show them self to us this morning, sitting tight maybe they are not keen on this cold 🥶 wind.
Did get a glimpse of one otter today but the choppy water makes it challenging to see them in the water.

Really good week of tours , we know have white tail chicks, we can see the parent birds feeding chicks, the golden eagles that we are watching are due to hatch this week.
Lots of nesting birds, that we are watching, gray lag geese have loads of goslings.
Weather is very dry but still chilly.
Blue bells are in full bloom too.
