Aberdyfi is a beautiful place all year round, but the Winter offers a quiet majesty with dramatic views, deserted beaches and a sense of natural calm. Definitely worth braving the weather.

We would like to invite the community to the Advent Window Night at St Peters Church. In previous years this event was held at Cartref Guesthouse, but we wanted to open it up to be a joint event between the participating advent windows. Plus it has outgrown our space. Participating Houses are still decorating their windows for every night of the Month. St Peter's Church has a more open space where we can all mingle. If any of the other participating advent windows are able to help with the event please get in touch with Gareth through Alison. We will need some assistance, and if anyone has an Electric Hotplate or Crock Pot to lend to help warm up the mulled wine that would be much appreciated. There will be mince pies, some mulled wine, tea and coffee, and squash. David is baking some mince pies, feel free to bring another food item to share. The event is free to enter, we are again asking for donations to the South Gwynedd Foodbank, if you are able to do so please bring something. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Barely a beach this morning at high tide but equally impressive. I never understand why tourists want Wales during beautiful weather but miss out on this great experience. Its wild and its wonderful here in autumn. These photos were taken this morning.
