You wander through the Italian Garden, past the wisteria-covered walls. You step into the Barn and look up at the starry ceiling. You find the Pond Jetty, the Long Room and all the corners you had only seen in photographs - then begin picturing your own people filling them.

Expect the warmest, cosy, country welcome of beeswax candlelight, pine and spiced wine scented air. We'll take our time, we'll sip and chatter, and I'll guide you through every step. No experience necessary, just bring yourself.

For 2026 I'll be back at Ho-Ho-Holesfoot (sorry, not sorry), where for 5 deliciously festive days we'll make the most bountiful, winter textured wreaths together in the wonderful old stone barn.

All the seasonal evergreens and thoughtfully gathered stems from the garden and local Lakeland suppliers: spruce, cedar & cypress, crisp bracken, seedheads and berries. There'll be pots and baskets full of dried flowers, fruits, bouncy larch branches and wavy grasses. With tiny tinkling brass bells and velvet/silk ribbons to finish off your masterpiece.

And, so you can do your very best work, we'll fuel your creativity with mulled wine, sweet treats, tea, coffee and nibbles.
