Everybody loves a puffin.
We have the pleasure of their company here from mid April to very early august.

The best time to see puffins at this point in the year is just before sunset as they are mostly out at sea during the day. Sunset this evening, and peak puffin time, is around 9:40pm. It’ll get later and later until midsummer.

If you really fancy seeing them at their best, make sure you arrange to stay over in Westray, as the last ferry leaves long before the puffins come back ashore.

PS the puffins make the rules, not us! 😜
