It’s almost time for the third BDFI Countdown Competition of 2026! 🏆

Will you join us at the prestigious NY Dance Festival?

Make sure to join as many Countdown competitions As possible this year to collect points and win the scholarship in your category! With the Countdown, we want to encourage Rising Star couples in both Professional and Amateur participants in Latin and Ballroom competitions. Based on their ranking in Countdown competitions, the couples receive points. The couple with the most points in every category receives a free ant of £500 per couple. The winners will be announced at the BDFI UK Congress in January 2027 ✨

Can’t make it? DSI TV will be broadcasting live from the Bournemouth International Centre starting at 4PM. Join the lectures with Michael Malitowski, Victor Fung and Morena Colagreco and the Audience with Augusto Schiavo and Caterina Arzenton from your living room!

To support wider access to the event, day access to DSI TV is reduced from £22.50 to just £6.00 for the duration of the BDFI UK Congress 2026.

We’re starting the year with a BDFI Countdown Series competition: the BDF Star Ball on January 14th. Make sure to join us there to collect your first points for the ranking of 2026! ✨

All BDFI couples joining one of the Countdown Series Competitions automatically gain points.
