Imagine a long weekend with time to breathe just a few minute from beautiful Poole Harbour and Sandbanks Beach. Sunshine, beach walks, coastal air - there’s nothing like it to make you feel instantly calmer.

Then return to your cosy cottage for a sundowner or a cup of tea in the comfortable sitting room or perhaps in the secluded courtyard garden before you order a yummy Chinese takeaway. You might even take a stroll over the road for a bite to eat at the local pub (dog friendly!).

These grey and cold days have got me thinking about summer holidays. Imagine lazy days on the golden sands of Sandbanks Beach, the glorious views of Poole Harbour, a spot of paddle boarding or boating … the possibilities are endless!

Then with sandy toes and windswept hair return to the comfort of Life’s A Beach and relax with a sundowner (or perhaps a cuppa) in the courtyard garden with the bifold doors opening up the kitchen diner space.

Another little gem just a few moments walk! MIIKO Everyday Nourishment is a gluten free and vegan cafe - if that’s not your usual thing we are here to tell you don’t be put off because they provide the most delicious and, yes, nourishing food.
Personally I love their warming soups and bowls - today I had a yummy bowl of Green Pea and Spinach Dahl. Honestly delicious and I feel virtuous!
Followed up by a very decadent chestnut and chocolate orange iced cake 😍
Serving breakfast, lunch and everything in between. I most often take away but you can also eat in. Perfect!
