🐾 HAVE YOU MET NELSON? 🐾

If you’ve visited us at The Ship Inn, there’s a good chance you’ve already met our friendly ginger pub cat, Nelson! 🧡🐈

Nelson is a bit of a local celebrity and everyone seems to love him! He belongs to Miguel and Michell and is very much their precious fur baby. 🥰🐾
Nelson likes to pop in from time to time, have a little wander around, say hello to our guests and make sure everything is running smoothly. 😻 He may not be here every day — he comes and goes as he pleases — but when he does make an appearance, he’s always happy to receive a fuss!

So next time you’re at The Ship Inn, Porlock Weir, keep your eyes peeled… you might just get to meet Nelson, our favourite ginger visitor! 🧡

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of putting together this spectacular seafood platter for a very special guest.

Fresh oysters, lobster, scallops, octopus and more — a real celebration of the sea, prepared and cooked by our kitchen team here at The Ship Inn at Porlock Weir.
