Well, where has the last few months gone?

We are not sure if it is just us. However, we are feeling like the summer just came and went.

We want to thank every single guest who has stayed with us the past few months.

Without you, there would be no business.

We are truly blessed, and I am sure a lot of local independent businesses are extremely grateful as I know they would have benefited gratefully from your visit to Porthcawl.

You have all been an absolute delight to host, and you are all welcome back anytime 🙏

There are still a few dates left for September. With the kids going back to school, maybe you mums and dad's can treat yourself to a well-earned break.

Great Communication 

This review from my recent guests who stayed in my holiday home has left me beaming.

Business is 💯 not easy, there are several variables that can turn up last-minute and knock you off your feet....

➡️ An unexpected bill 

➡️ IT failure when the majority of your business is run on line. What backup plan do you have to access your files/data

➡️ A member of your team off ill (i.e my cleaners can't make it)

(OK I don't directly employ staff these days but when I did.... Oh boy, was being responsible for 358 staff a challenge 😳) (which I loved, may I add)

To name just a few,

So, knowing that amongst the challenges of running a business, it becomes 💯 worth it, as so many people get to enjoy and experience the gift of your graft.

To any small business out there....

💥 Look after your workforce

💥 Look after your customers

💥 Know that great things can take time

💥 And amongst all the ups and downs, ensure to look after YOU

Meet the Q&A panel -

Sean Holley Sport & Media is well know as a TV Rugby Analyst for BBC Wales Scrum V. Sean has also worked for BT Sports, Sky Sports, S4C to name a few.

Sean was head coach for Ospreys Rugby which seen him spend nine seasons - Over 250 games. Sean's vibrant career has also seen him working with British Lions, Grand Slam winners, All Blacks and Springboks including the likes of Shane Williams, Gavin Henson, Adam Jones, Ryan Jones, Tommy Bowe, Justin Marshall, Jerry Collins, Scott Gibbs, Mike Phillips and many more.

James Jones Ref is the worlds first Dual Code International Rugby Union & Rugby League Referee proudly making it in to the Code Breakers Hall Of Fame along side the likes of Jonathan Davies (Jiffy), Scott Quinnell, Gareth Thomas (Alfie) and many others.

James took charge of international rugby union matches between 2005 and 2012 before transferring to rugby league in 2013 taking charge of his first Rugby League International in 2021.

James is a regular pundit on TalkSport Radio and has carried media work with BBC Radio and BBC TV.
