Well placed for exploring the Island either by yourself or on a tour, see the famous Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach, Niest Point, Old man of Storr. Take a trip down into Glenbrittle and swim in the Fairy Pools, walk into the Coire Laggan beneath the Cullins. Go north and see the Fairy Glen, Quirrang, Kilt Rock, the Old man of Storr. Hi guys, the laundry opening time is back to normal! Also the parking space at the laundry is avaliable for loading (pick up and drop off clothes). The ' no parking' sign is to avoid tourists come and leave their cars at our private parking lot because there is a parking fee charged at bayfield carpark.

Portree independent hostel is looking for 2 volunteers who can do a few hours work in exchange for free accommodation

We are looking for 1 person to work a maximum of 3 hours in the morning between (10am-1pm Sometime 2 hours depending how busy it is

Also 1 night porter who will be responsible for the safety and security of the hostel at night, This person would need to be in the hostel from 10pm-8am, There are no other duties for the night porter to do during the night so you can sleep after final checks are done at roughly 12am

Accommodation can be provided for at least 4 weeks

The working pattern would be 5 days with 2 days off

If your looking for short term accommodation and don’t mind helping out for a few hours then give the hostel a call or pop in for a chat

Portree Independent Hostel is now open as from the 15th July.

We have put in place extra measures to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.

Please continue to follow all Scottish Government Guidelines and Advice while visiting.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our beautiful island :)

Hi,
Due to the corona virus and the government's advise. Our hostel is closed currently. But the laundrette will still be opened as normal. Please make sure you bring the correct amount of money for the washing machines and dryers.
We suggest that the customers upload the washes then leave and come back to collect them afterwards.

The normal wash takes about 25-40 mins and the normal dryer takes about 30 mins.

Laundrette Service

Good news!!! Eventually, our new washing machines are going to be deliveried on next Tuesday 03/03/20. Our laundrette will be closed for the installation on 03/03/20 and open again on the next day.
Thanks for your attention!
