I will remember this morning’s breakfast for a long time.

This fantastic gent on the right is in his 80s… yet he still goes running and has managed 30 marathons in his lifetime, as well as many treks! What began as general chit-chat, transpired to be one of the most inspirational and educational conversations I’ve had in a long time, but not just for me… also 5 of my other guests. No one knew each other, but after 3 or so hours of bouncing off each other, we all felt like we were friends, as well as being individually inspired in our own way.

A truly remarkable morning, I love making my guests interact with one another, and the conversations and laughs we end up having at the Pier… you really can’t put a price on.

I do love my job, and it really is the people that make it worth it.
