Alert to all.... DO NOT work for Apex Prime Care!! Handed in my notice and said I would work my 2 weeks as outlined in my contract. Received a letter from recruitment telling me that I will get all monies owed in the form of a cheque when I return my uniform after working my notice. So will have to use my own fuel (not that they paid for it anyway) to go to the office and collect that. Then my new job emailed and asked for a reference only for Apex to tell me that they will not provide a reference until I have finished working my notice. So instead of going from one job to another, I will have to work my notice, get my reference and then wait to receive my new start date! I have never worked for a company so hostile. I know I am leaving but I have done everything the right way and think the way they are treating me is horrible!!!
