Here’s something I love watching unfold…
I’ve been working my way around a few Hilton hotels lately, supporting their Kick-Off sessions and getting leaders match-fit for 2026.
One big focus everywhere:
👉 How do we empower our teams to lead better?
I run a continuous improvement challenge hands-on, fast-paced and brilliantly messy, where teams work in a circle with numbers dotted around. Sometimes the numbers are close. Sometimes they’re further away. Sometimes you’ve got to dive into the middle. Every setup is different… which means there’s never a “fair” comparison.
And that’s the point.
It’s not about speed.
It’s about mindset.
It’s about:
✨ trying different approaches
✨ seeing new perspectives
✨ letting go of “this is how we’ve always done it”
✨ and realising that if you want different results… you’ve got to shift how you play.
But what I can say…
Hilton York brought incredible energy, curiosity and teamwork into the room. They leaned in, experimented, laughed, adapted, and fully embraced stretch mode.
That’s leadership in action.
This is why I love experiential learning. When people don’t just talk about change they feel it, try it, live it.
Leadership doesn’t live on slides.
It lives in moments like this.
