I was watching Spud, as I do every day… and it got me thinking about how much dogs can teach us.

They simply don’t care what you do for a living (even though she comes to work with me most days) how much money you have, what car you drive or how many followers you have. They just care whether you’re kind ❤️

They get super excited to see the people they love, they don’t carry yesterday into today, and they find joy in the simplest of things, any walk, a treat, and just a familiar face.

They don’t feel guilty about naps! If they need company, they come and sit beside you.

They find joy in the simplest things, they trust their instincts, they love unconditionally, play more, and always loyal.

Food is always worth getting super excited for!

Always let people know your happy to see them, and don’t be afraid to ask for help!

I guess happiness isn’t always found in the big moments… Maybe it’s found in the ordinary stuff that we rush past every day..

Confession time…

The last time I stepped into a school sports hall was probably about 35 years ago…. Ouch 🥴

Back then… it’s fair to say, I was absolutely terrified of teachers… anything to do with authority 😳 even as much as a raised eyebrow could ruin my day!

So standing in front of 550 of them yesterday in Essex felt like a bit of a full-circle moment….

Six schools came together as part of one academy trust, and our brief at TA was really straight forward.

Just help people connect.

Simple… until you’re trying to move 550 people around a hall, out into the sunshine, and back again without creating complete chaos..

I’m so glad the weather was on our side, and so were the teachers 👊

We arrived armed with activities designed to build relationships, spark conversations and strengthen connections. What followed was a lot of energy, plenty of laughter, and people genuinely taking the opportunity to connect with colleagues they may not normally spend time with.

A huge thank you to Raj Mehta Victoria Sedgwick for your amazing support.

Oh…..and to the teachers…

You were considerably less scary than I remember. 😊

It fair to say, this was an epic few days spent in Vienna with the International Procurement team at .

What continues to stand out to me, even after 15 years of working with Aldi, is the calibre of the people. The work ethic, commitment and standards they bring every day are truly exceptional.

There is a level of drive, accountability and dedication that is genuinely unique, and it's always a privilege to spend time with teams who set such a high bar for themselves and for each other 🥰 👊

Over the course of this week, we created space to step away from the day job, strengthen relationships, have some honest conversations, and invest in the people behind the roles.

Great teams aren't built on processes and structures alone. They're built on awesome connection, understanding and a shared commitment to helping one another truly succeed.

Thank you for the energy, openness and engagement throughout the week.

It’s been an absolute pleasure and a joy to work with you all.

What a cracker it was to host the annual conference for Napthens LLP

Making a day like this land, we all know there’s great people doing great work behind the scenes, so a huge thank you to Nicola Mason Catherine Wong and the wider team for making it all feel effortless.

I did my bit… creating flow, bring the energy, icebreakers, the laughs… and help create a room where people connect whilst delivering a serious message.

From hearing Stephen Faulkner talk about the incredible year they’ve had… to hosting a client panel full of nothing but praise for the firm… it was one of those days that just reminded me of what great culture looks like!

And when 288 people throw themselves in 100% (even when a mic gets stolen for an unexpected performance Oli McCann ), you realise you’re working with something pretty special! 👌🥰

Partnering with GA Pet Food ❤️. It’s fair to say, some partnerships just make sense.

We’re in the middle of a 12-month leadership development journey, blending deep, immersive leadership conversations with proper, real-world experiences outdoors.

Deep honest conversations, vulnerability, challenge… it’s all thrown in the mix to make for an awesome few days away!
What makes this program work really well, is a group of people that are just willing to just lean in to every activity. ( and laugh super hard too 😂)

It works, because of the mixture between indoor reflection, and outdoor experience…

So, when you bring those two together… that’s where the real magic happen.

There’s something special that happens when a team stops… and really sees each other.

Well that’s what happened last Friday in Lancashire with an super fun, positive recruitment team Fresh Perspective Resourcing

We did lots of activities,big laughs, along side, honest reflection, marginal gains and real appreciation.

Hearing people say what they truly value about one another (often for the first time)…
That was gorgeous ❤️

As for this team, it fair to say, Beautiful group. Big hearts. Absolute pleasure.

What a brilliant way to kick off a Monday morning… hosting the Super Speaker Showcase in Birmingham.

I absolutely love this role.

Not because I get the mic… actually far from it…. but because I get a front-row seat watching brilliant people step onto the stage and share their stories.

Speaking in a room full of peers can feel pretty daunting.
So my job is simple: lift the energy, settle the nerves and create a room where speakers feel supported enough to shine.

And wow… the vibe yesterday was electric 💥❤️👊

A room full of generous, inspiring, high-energy humans cheering each other on. My kind of people. Something really special about bringing people to the stage and watching them light up the room.

Loved every minute of it. ❤️👊
