🌟 What a fantastic day for both the pub and our wonderful village yesterday! 🌟

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the amazing Jill Scott as she stopped by during her incredible 388-mile bike ride and run challenge for Comic Relief and Sport Relief. 🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ What an inspiration! We wish Jill the very best of luck for the rest of her journey – you've got this! ❤️

But the excitement doesn't stop there...

⚽️Today we have the lionesses vs Ukraine qualifying match for the women's World Cup ⚽️

⚽ Tomorrow, we go from a Lioness to the Three Lions as England take on Costa Rica in their final friendly before the big tournament! We'll be showing all the action live on both screens here at The Hollybush, so come and cheer the lads on with us. 🦁🦁🦁

🌎 Then on Thursday, the football fever really starts as the World Cup kicks off with Mexico vs South Africa!

🎤 And then... Friday is where the real fun begins! 🎤

🥂 It's Fizz Friday – grab a bottle of fizz for just £17!

🎶 And by very popular demand, Karaoke Night is BACK! Whether you've got the voice of an angel or should probably stick to the shower, we want to hear you! Gather your friends, pick your favourite songs, and sing the night away with us. The louder, the better! 🎵🎤😂

Quick update

Jill scott and comic relief team are running behind schedule by roughly an hour.

So will arrive at the Hollybush around 4pm

*UPDATE* Jill and a surprise sports celeb guest will be arriving into the village from the Charwelton side, coming down to Hollybush Lane, and then leaving back out the same side of Hollybush lane onto helidon Road.

We are proud to be supporting and Jill Scott's coming home challenge for sports relief and comic relief.
From 8th June jill will be cycling and running 388 miles from Wembley stadium to Sunderland over 5 days and we at the Hollybush Inn are very excited to announce that they will be using our pub as there 3rd stop on Monday 8th at 3.05pm until 3.55pm
The pub and the car park will be closed to the public until they leave
We are drumming up support throughout the village and are hoping people can line the streets to clap her along, maybe wave a flag etc 😀
