People who’ve experienced tremendous loss, especially the loss of a child, have to cope with extreme emotions every day. They have to live with terrible grief and also somehow function in the everyday world. A mother was telling me recently "We live with a very heavy burden of grief that we carry while also living our “every day” lives, but also experiencing great joy in the things that we choose to do. In the years since my daughter passed, my husband, two surviving daughters, and I have gone on holiday together. My family wants to plan another trip. Life is beautiful, horrible, painful, and wonderful. I believe that our late daughter celebrates our experiences, and we embrace them because we understand how fleeting this existence truly is."

The stunning Falésia Beach (Praia da Falésia, meaning Cliff Beach) is really breathtaking. Perfect wedding location! It has a cliff that begins in the Barranco das Belharucas Beach and extends to Vilamoura.

The beach is part of a continuous stretch of sand almost 6 km in length. It is flanked by a line of high cliffs in deep tones ranging from reds to whitish, in contrasting colours with the green of the pine groves above.

Glorious. Perfectly Peaceful. ⛱️
