We were so pleased to welcome Wynne, Brian and all their family & friends this weekend for a really special celebration 🥂

40 years ago they celebrated their wedding here with us at The Rokeby Inn (A66 motel)… and this weekend they came back to celebrate 40 wonderful years of marriage. 💕

It was lovely to be part of such a special occasion and see everyone making more happy memories where it all began.

Congratulations again and thank you for celebrating with us ❤️

Not something you see every day here at The Rokeby Inn…

We had the pleasure of welcoming guests arriving in this absolutely stunning 100-year-old Bentley today — what a beautiful piece of history and craftsmanship.

Unfortunately, it decided it had done enough for the day and broke down during their visit… but thankfully everyone was safe.

Even with the little hiccup, it certainly turned a few heads and gave us all something special to admire! 🚗✨

We do love the interesting visitors that find their way to The Rokeby Inn.

This week has meant so much to us.

We were deeply touched to receive a beautiful, one-off cob horse bench in memory of our Sophie, gifted by the Gypsies. It’s such a thoughtful and meaningful tribute, and seeing it here is really special.

Sophie is always with us, and this gives us a place to sit, reflect, and remember her — something we’ll treasure every single day.

Thank you, to everyone involved, truly, for such kindness and generosity. It means more than we can ever put into words. 💛

A 3D gypsy cob horse bench will be installed at Rokeby Inn, off the A66, in memory of Sophie Hall who took her own life in June 2023.
