There's plenty to see, with the massive Norman castle to explore, cobbled streets to stroll though, lined with independent shops and quaint cafes, as well as scenic walks along the River Swale to Richmond Falls 🌊

We Had a duck 🦆 nesting in the cottage garden, she took her ducklings down to the river today. Quite a bit of drama though because she left 4 behind (out of 10).managed to catch 2 and lower them down to her but the other 2 were hiding. We found them behind the greenhouse tonight and managed to find her down the river so all reunited.

Well done to Ben and his family for helping this duck and her ducklings 🐥
