Well a few works in progress for the cabins and with advice ,pointers,help and alot of patience from Morna Taylor finished upholstering and bringing some new life into some old furniture,they are looking fab in the cabins😁

Soo,the chipper has been on hire again and bob and Fergus have done amazing works creating another small path that joins the oak wood in a loop to rest of the walks. This area that right now does not look much like an oak wood will hopefully in time see lots of different oaks thriving and growing,so far 6 different oaks ,hopefully by the end of the year we are planning up to 20 different varieties. I can't wait to see it develop, some view from up there , so farlary footpathers ,come see what you think 😁

So,busy week at cabins,my lovely brother came to stay and I made sure I made the most of his woodworking skills and we created a tree shelf I had been talking about for a while ,tree branches gifted from and upcycled table tops that have seen parties ,weddings and much more in the years they have been in our barn😁now a fab shelf ,also used another old table to make a great storage area for bin and fridge,we put in alot of hours and I am so grateful for all the help,love it ,getting everything closer to finishing the bottom cabin ,good company ,sunshine and good tunes💪

Well with all this sunshine and rain the woodlands are looking so lush and everything is buzzing and fluttering with life... These orange tips are prolific this year ,you can see so many on the walks enjoying the cuckoo flowers especially and the sweet aroma of hawthorn and rowan blossom is intense.... wow,first orchids out on croft too..lovely❤️

Ok Farlary footpathers, so obviously this project has been going on a while, slowly getting added to but finally put our arboretum signs up(excuse the cheesy play on words,all my idea!!) so please if you haven't already please come and explore ,there is 2 signs off the main footpath ,come and find your favourite trees here ,don't feel you need to stick to the paths, just enjoy...here is a few of mine. It's been Bobs dream to put together an arboretum and it is really taking shape❤️
