Big thank you to all those that came to the Wellgate Community Farm visit day. Lots of trains and lots of animals.

Two members of the club also managed to lay the last loop of track on the table railway and give it a good test.

Our next public running day is Sunday 21st June. Hope to see you all then.

Busy work day including cleaning the porta loo which now has a basin in.

The waste we compost so if people keep putting in nappies and wet wipes we will simply take the toilet away. We do not have to provide one and we do not get paid for supplying one.

Please do not put items that do not compost in it.

Thank you.

For those that have ridden on the Red Tram, this was 8 years ago under restoration on my parents front drive.

Workday Sunday 18th January 2026.
Paul, Clarke, Scott, Keith, Bob, John and new recruit Bob present. A major piece of work was being tackled for the second weekend, that of digging out the track imperfections at the location of Bowls Curve. The heavy wet clay at the location made it very hard work for those involved and we thank Tony, our new recruit, for his work on the day. Other members were involved in completing the third and fourth tracks of the table top railway. It is just two track panels short of being completed. Thanks to Drena and Faith for cooking lunch.
