We rarely share reviews, but were very pleased to have read this review and 10/10 score today from guests who stayed this last weekend. Incredible boutique hotel in a lovely area.

Incredible find. The decoration is classy, stylish and unique throughout. The room was decorated to a high standard, as were the communal areas with excellent artwork. Lovely bedroom, very comfortable bed. A lovely quiet area of an interesting town with plenty to do locally and lots more within a short drive. I loved the outside space too, a lovely area to sit and unwind in at the end of a day exploring. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options all freshly cooked to order. When there we participated in the monthly Supper Club. It was truly exceptional and incredible value for money with high end cuisine. The hosts (Gavin and Chris) are friendly without being overbearing, truly interesting, knowledgeable about the local area and attractions. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A definite must for a return visit.

Well Street from Record St to the square remains closed for a few more weeks whilst public realm improvement works take place in advance of the transformation of St Peter's Square. Today the new pavement has been opened alongside our building, whilst the builders move their compound over to work on the opposite side. Guests staying with us should continue to head straight to the Dog Lane car park (Free for 1 hour) then make their way on foot to manorhaus and to collect room key and parking permit for free parking. Those with access needs or heavy luggage - you can still access us by car via St Peter's Square and then go through the closure as residents have access. You'll need to return the car to Dog Lane car park to park. Thank you to everyone for their understanding during the works and to OBR construction for their communication and efforts to minimise disruption. We are taking the opportunity also to redecorate our frontage. It will look amazing once all the improvements are complete.

manorhaus is the ideal venue for private parties, catering for up to 30 with our set dinner packages, or 20 for our dinner and film parties.

We were pleased to welcome a crowd to mark a special birthday last night. Private parties can include cocktail and canapés and 3 course dinner with coffee & sweet treats for £45 per head. They then used the cinema space as a cocktail lounge for post dinner party.

Private picturehaus parties for up to 20 include 2 course dinner, chilly cow ice cream and the film of your choice shown in our cinema - price is £32.50 per person.
