TEACH THEM YOUNG 🏡💪🏼

School holidays + a new renovation = everyone gets involved 😂

Today’s job at Project ER20 was clearing the garden, with my little helpers earning their keep!

I want my kids to grow up knowing that the things you want in life don’t just happen. You work for them.

Not rewarding the outcome — rewarding the effort. The willingness to get stuck in, work hard and keep going even when the job isn’t particularly glamorous.

They might just think they’re helping Mum clear a garden today… but hopefully they’re learning lessons that will stay with them much longer. ❤️

Work hard. Get involved. Be proud of what you’ve achieved.

And yes… they’ll absolutely be getting paid for their labour in sweeties 🤣🍭🍫🍬

Forget glamorous property development…

Today’s reality: kids in tow, car loaded to the roof and another family trip to the tip. 😂♻️

When you’re renovating properties and it’s the school holidays, everyone gets involved whether they signed up for it or not. 🤣

It’s definitely not always pretty houses, before & afters and collecting keys — sometimes it’s dust, rubbish, tip runs and trying to keep four kids entertained at the same time!

But these are the bits of the journey you don’t always see.

Every property we take on is about more than bricks and mortar. It’s another opportunity to breathe new life into a home, grow the business we’re building, and take another step towards the future we’ve envisioned from day one.

There’ll be dust, long days, and no doubt a few surprises along the way—but that’s exactly why I love this journey.

📣…Many of you will already know that I’ve been involved in property for a number of years, both personally and through working with investors and homeowners along the way.

I’m excited to share that I’m now training to become a Mortgage & Protection Adviser with the team at Discipline Finance.

For me, it feels like a natural progression. I’ve always enjoyed helping people understand their options, make informed decisions, and work towards their goals. Whether that’s buying a first home, moving house, growing a property portfolio, or simply planning for the future.

Over the coming months, I’ll be learning from experienced advisers, developing my knowledge, and gaining practical experience before taking on my own clients.

Whilst I’m not currently providing regulated mortgage or protection advice, I am building a waiting list for when I’m fully qualified and ready to support clients directly.
