Summer is fast approaching and our calendar is filling up quickly. We are now completely fully booked for both June and August. However, if you are hoping for a sunny Yorkshire coast holiday, you are in luck. We still have two wonderful July slots available:

Ever wondered about the story behind our beautiful holiday home?

We thought it was about time we properly introduced the faces behind Royal Victoria House, meet Julia and Callam. You might have spotted them recently in the Daily Mail, where our property renovation journey was featured. As property managers, they poured their hearts into transforming this beautiful old home. They actually did a lot of the practical work themselves, from redecorating to ripping out the old furnishings. Over a hundred thousand pounds went into modernising the house, including a stunning new kitchen, beautiful new bathrooms and a lovely paved garden area for you all to enjoy.

Fun fact, Julia and Callam now work as property experts over in Spain, so if you are ever tempted to make a move abroad, they are always happy to share their advice. We love welcoming guests to experience the home they built.

We put a lot of love into making Royal Victoria House a special place, and hearing what our guests enjoy most means the world to us.

It seems our games room is a real crowd pleaser, with one guest noting there is something for everyone, highly recommend and great value for money.

Others love being so close to the sea, saying the location was perfect for us with easy access into the main town.

Large groups really appreciate the room we offer, with one review mentioning that with seven spacious bedrooms, five bathrooms, and six toilets, it really caters well to large families or groups.

Food lovers enjoyed the fact that the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need, and loved that the table easily sits fourteen so the whole family could eat together. Finally, the hot tub is always a winner, with guests saying it is nice to have the hot tub after a swim. Come and find your own favourite spot in the house.

For the young ones and the young at heart, our games room is always a massive hit. If you prefer to take things easy, we have plenty of comfortable communal areas where you can sit back with a cup of tea and a good book. In the evenings, everyone can gather in our fully stocked kitchen to prepare a meal together, before catching up around the lovely large dining table. Sean shared that the house felt lovely, warm and welcoming the moment they stepped inside. They loved our high specification kitchen and breakfast bar, and found the dining table the perfect size to get everyone together. Did you know that Scarborough holds the title of Britain's very first seaside resort?

This year is particularly special as we celebrate the 400th anniversary of Mrs Farrer discovering the Spa waters, which started it all back in 1626.

To mark the occasion, the Scarborough Maritime and Heritage Centre on Eastborough is running a fascinating exhibition.
