🌿🐴 A Different Kind of Riding Retreat for 2027… 🐴🌿

What if a Riding Retreat was less about training and more about simply enjoying time with your horse? 💚

We’re thinking of introducing a slower, more relaxed Riding Retreat at Acre & Shelter, celebrating everything we love about Pony Glamping!

Think long, leisurely hacks through our stunning forestry countryside, delicious food, boutique yurt accommodation and a blissful massage in the comfort of your yurt or even beside your horse’s paddock. 🌸

This retreat would be perfect for those wanting to escape the everyday hustle, enjoy some quality time with their horse, or bring a young horse away for its first overnight adventure in a calm, welcoming environment.

Memories from our last weekend with our Aussie Doodle puppies 🐾🤎

The farm feels a little quiet now, as our gorgeous babies have flown the nest and begun their new adventures — apart from one very special little boy who is still waiting for his perfect family. 🥰

We absolutely love raising our litters here on the farm. Watching them grow from tiny bundles into happy, confident little characters, introducing them to new sights, sounds, animals and adventures, and giving them the best start we possibly can is such a special part of what we do.

Saying goodbye is always bittersweet 🥹, but knowing they’re heading off to wonderful homes makes it all worthwhile.

One of our favourite things is keeping in touch with their new families, watching them grow and seeing them loved, spoilt and enjoying their new lives. ❤️

And now we just need to find that perfect someone for our last beautiful boy… 🐶✨

Xenas puppies are now 8 weeks old. The lovely thing about the Australian Labradoodle X Labrador is that each puppy is completely individual with its own colour, length of hair and features from both breeds. They start to fly the nest this week and we’ll be sad to see these fluff balls go, but excited for them to be welcomed into their new homes

We had a little drive out to Flamborough yesterday to walk the doggos and have a bite to eat. We have so many beautiful beaches to visit around us and there’s some good places to eat these days too

🐶Throw back review from our last Aussie Doodle litter! Who remembers Duke!?

🏡It’s always so lovely to hear how our puppies are getting on once they leave us, and it sounds like Duke is absolutely thriving in his new home. Affectionate, clever, chilled and completely adored — exactly the kind of temperament we see in our puppies.

🐕Mum Xena is our beautiful Fox Red Labrador Retriever. She is fully health tested, gentle, loyal and incredibly intelligent, with a wonderful temperament. Dad Red is a Medium Australian Labradoodle who is also fully health tested and was carefully selected for his temperament, intelligence and characterful fleecy red coat.

✨We currently have 1 girl and 2 boys available from our current litter, now 7 weeks old. They are being raised here on our family farm with plenty of handling and socialisation, growing up around people, other dogs, horses and the everyday sights and sounds of farm life.

✔️Before leaving us, each puppy will be fully health checked by a veterinary surgeon, microchipped, receive their first vaccination, and be wormed and treated to schedule.

🐾 Our Australian Labradoodle Growth Diary | Weeks 1–6 🐾

Six weeks of watching these gorgeous little characters grow. ❤️

From tiny bundles snuggled up with Mum to bright, bouncy, inquisitive puppies — they are now absolutely bursting with personality. They’re playful, sprightly, affectionate and full of joy, but what has really stood out is their wonderfully loving and gentle natures.

They adore people, love being involved in everything and are already showing us what fantastic family dogs and companions they are going to become.

A few of these special little souls are still waiting to find their people. 🏡

We’d love to find them active, loving homes where they can be part of family life — enjoying adventures, long walks and plenty of fun, but equally treasured for the affectionate, loyal companions they are becoming.

If you’re looking for more than just a dog, and want a real character to become part of your family, one of these little ones might just be waiting for you. 🤎

Pimp My Pony for the Staintondale Pony Club Camp Finale!

A little throwback to one of our favourite activities from this Summer season. There were ribbons, glitter, lots of paint and some very enthusiastic kiddos! Coco charmed the hearts of everyone and lapped up all the attention whilst also multi tasking serving Prosecco to the adults!

Our 2027 Acre & Shelter dates will be coming soon, and we’d love to hear what you’d like to see next year too. If you’ve got any ideas for activities you would like to us to host, you imagine it and we can create it!
