I sat in the greenhouse today and marvelled at the magnificence of it - such lushness and wild flowering in Harris is not easy to achieve but Jo and Jacquie have frankly performed miracles in there. And the scent is breathtaking. 150 Roses, Chamomile, Verbena, Rosemary and all the rest make for a heady combination. If you’re in Harris and fancy a wander let me know and I’ll arrange it.

If you find yourself up in Harris, we have a little shop at the front of our workshop where we sell all our products and also a rather lovely selection of other people’s. Just now we are in full harvest so you can also sneak round the back and see which plant is on the big oak table. We’re open 11-3 Monday to Friday

Tomorrow at The Bays Cafe.
Our first Special on the menu.
Pasta Salad.
Penne pasta in a creamy herb, honey and mustard sauce with red pepper, spring onion, capers and black beans with mange tout and a green salad topped with Parmesan.
Plus all the usuals including Leek and Potato soup. Always gluten and dairy free. Served with bloomer bread and butter.
Gluten free bread available for sandwiches and toasties.
Most of the menu available as take out as are all drinks!
Come and see us at Lacklee on the junction of the Bays Road and Golden Road, seating outside too and watch the seals, eagles and otters.
Open 10.00 - 4.00pm.
Closed Sunday and Wednesday.

The Bays Cafe at Lacklee will open its doors on Tuesday 12th May.

Opening times will be 10.00-16.00, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Food served till 15.30.
