Our first Apple picker of the season and she is by far our favourite. Cuteness overload. Please note we will not send this small child up a tree if you want apples picking. We have bigger children to throw up.

APPLES!!!!
Come and pick apples. We have an abundance of eating and cooking apples at the lodge. Please come and help yourself. Anyone who’s not able to pick please let us know and we shall send a small child up a tree 😁

Our new gardening apprentices are really getting stuck into their training. This week we covered lawnmowers and hand saws. Next week they hope to pass their chainsawing qualifications. 😆😆

Some days you get to cut the grass in peace and quiet. Other days you have to first cut a maze for the children to run around first before you get to do a full mow 😆

Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. So start the day with a full buffet selection of your choosing. Accompanied by our cooked breakfast menu there’s plenty for everyone to choose from. So if you’re topping your porridge or garnishing your pancakes you’ll find plenty of choice.

After the rain comes the beautiful flower displays. Photographed by head gardener Beth, our stunning display really knows how to catch the eye. A walk around the garden is never dull with everyday bringing a new colour and bloom to our spaces.

Day 1 of the summer holidays. Well done to the Scourie Lodge junior team who have completed another year at school. Emelia moves up to high school after the summer and James starts primary school. Such a summer of change.
We are immensely proud of how helpful and involved they are in the business. I’m sure you’ll see them around over the holidays!

Resident Pooch Jasper wants you to know that bookings for 2027 are now open.

We’re flying into our plans for next year happier than a dog on the beach. We’ve got new ideas, reno plans and some wee surprises. But what will remain the same is our friendly highland welcome, our home away from home feel and ofcourse dog friendly.

6 years apart!

Who would have thought that 6 years later we would still be picking strawberries in the Lodge Garden but also calling it our Garden.

The children have grown a bit and few more have been added but the philosophy of the lodge gardens is still the same. Open to all to explore and wander around. A true oasis! A hidden gem! A secret garden!
