NEWNESS- We are having a lick of paint this month in a few rooms and taking the opportunity to replace the rather boring headboards in the pink bedroom with some luxurious velvet in this glorious pattern by talented Northumbrian textile designer We can’t wait to see the finished headboards in place! We’ve taken inspiration on the colours from our beautiful watercolours by that hang above the bed.

COME SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH US
Due to a last minute cancellation we now have availability for Christmas at Art House.
These pictures taken in late December last year show what a magical place Northumberland is at Christmas. The house is well suited to families and for hosting dinners with two ovens, a huge table and lots of space for every age it is the perfect place to be together at Christmas.

Beach bits- We are always finessing our offering at Art House and trying to add things to make your lives easier. We’ve just added this beach trolley to the cupboard and having throughly tried it out it works a treat. It will take the stress out of lugging all the beach bits for you and your families. We also added some new children’s plates and tumblers which are chic enough & big enough for everyone for beach days.

MORE BEACH DAYS
This time we took a trip to the beautiful beach at Alnmouth, we stocked up on Sandwiches at our favourite deli, Scott’s, and on the way home popped into The Old School Gallery for another peak at their summer exhibition. You can park all day down at Alnmouth for the princely sum of £3.50 and walk directly onto the beach. It’s another beautiful spot in wonderful Northumberland. We have, thanks to our lovely cleaners, opened up some short breaks in August so have a look at our new website (link in bio- www.arthouseSeahouses.co.uk) and you can now look at our live availability and book direct online by all major cards.

We popped in to see our friends at yesterday. Their summer exhibition is in full swing and the gallery was filled with many beautiful things. This little long tailed tit was a particular favourite of mine. I’m not sure if you’ve ever heard them sing but they make the most magnificent song. Why don’t you pop round and have a look if you are lucky enough to be in this part of the world. This little chap is by . I’ve got a couple already on my walls at home and I think this little chap might need to fly to London soon!
