A visit to the local bakery is pretty much a must when you stay at Hyll View Cottage 🥖

Fresh bread, still warm, and the smell alone is worth the short drive.

We did plan to take photos of the amazing bakes... but we ate them too quickly 🤣
You’ll just have to go and see (and taste) for yourself 🍞

Cheese board night 🧀

A trip to The Courtyard Dairy, picking out “just a couple” of cheeses (which somehow turns into five), then back to the cottage to put together the ultimate cheese board.

At Hyll View Cottage, our information folder isn’t just thrown together… every place in it has been personally “tested” by us first....

That means lots of coffee stops, pub lunches, and “we’ll just try this one too” moments – all in the name of research, of course 🤣

If it’s in the folder, it’s because we genuinely ❤️ it (and possibly went back more than once… just to be sure).

It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it. 🍰
