The history of Silverwood is truly special and it is important we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Join us for a Service of Remembrance on Thursday, 6th November at 7:30pm at Silverwood Scout Campsite. We’ll gather for a candlelit service to honour those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Refreshments will follow - all volunteers welcome, uniform preferred.

💰 Just £2.50 entry (includes a drink!) - pay on the day

🏆 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each section PLUS overall highest scoring group awards - the more from your group who attend, the better your chances of victory!

This morning at Silverwood, a wreath was laid to commemorate the 13th and 14th Battalions York & Lancaster Regiment - the Barnsley Pals - and the Battle of the Somme, which they were a part of.
