The Three Chimneys Restaurant and The House Over-By have been offering the very finest of Skye, Land and Sea for over thirty years now. We are one of the best Retreat, Eat and Sleep experiences in the world. Wonderful hospitality and a very warm welcome awaits all of our guests. Find us on the B884 road from Dunvegan to Glendale, the single-track road that leads to the most westerly edge of the Island at Neist Point Lighthouse . The busy summer months have passed, the roads are quieter and there’s more time to stop when a view catches your eye. Take the long way round, explore at your own pace, then make your way back to The Three Chimneys for dinner.

And if you’re staying at House Over-By, there’s no need to rush anywhere the next morning either.

Skye is even better with your four-legged travel companion.

House Over-By is dog friendly, so there’s no need to leave them behind when planning your stay at The Three Chimneys. We’ll have a locally made Skyeskyns sheepskin mat waiting for them, along with handmade treats from Skye Tails, bowls, a dog towel and a few other essentials.

With plenty of walks and fresh Skye air right on the doorstep, they might enjoy the trip just as much as you do.

We’re delighted to be part of Scotland’s Winter Table, collaborating with Nomadic Scotland on a five-day journey through the Highlands and Skye.

With two nights here at The Three Chimneys and our seasonal tasting menu included, it’s a chance to explore the island through its food, as well as its landscapes.

Along the way, travel by Land Rover Defender, stay beside the loch at The Pierhouse and enjoy a Talisker distillery tour and wh**ky tasting, before a final night in Perthshire.

A lovely bit of news from The Three Chimneys team.

Liam, one of our chefs, has made it through to the Scottish final of the World Young Chef Young Waiter competition, while our Aidan, another member of the team is also a finalist in the mixology category.

We’re incredibly proud to see them both representing The Three Chimneys and wish them the very best of luck in the finals.

From Skye to Dornoch.

For one night only, our Head Chef Paul Green will join MARA Head Chef Theo Creton at Links House for a very special eight-course collaborative dinner.

Taking place on 31 October, Paul and Theo will each create four courses, bringing together the produce of Skye and the North Highlands in a menu shaped by two chefs, two landscapes and a shared love of seasonal Scottish ingredients.

For Paul, it also marks a return to the North Highlands, where he spent part of his early career before eventually returning to lead the kitchen here at The Three Chimneys.

We’re very much looking forward to sharing the kitchen with Theo and the team at MARA.
