Here’s your chance to meet the Exec

All Lincolnshire’s Freemasons, including the Rough Ashlars, have been invited by Provincial Grand Master Dave Wheeler to meet him and his Exec Team this month – and he’s also throwing in a free breakfast bap and a brew.

The event runs from 9am on Saturday October 17th at the Sleaford Masonic Hall, and if you’d like to be there please register by contacting Steve Henman by emailing [email protected] or ringing him on 07446 880005 by Sunday 11th October.

Dave, pictured above, said: “I am writing to welcome you to Freemasonry in Lincolnshire and to extend a personal invitation to join me and other members of my Provincial Executive team and the Lincolnshire Rough Ashlars for an informal but informative New Members Morning.

“I have no doubt the morning will answer many questions for you. We’ll dress casually in a relaxed atmosphere, getting to meet and know each other and Freemasons from other Lodges in a similar place to you on their Masonic journey.

“We shall have a series of short presentations followed by the opportunity to ask questions. I am sure you have already discovered that becoming a Freemason is life changing. It presents the opportunity to become friends with people you would be most unlikely to meet in any other way and as such is life-enhancing too.

“I do hope you will be able to join us.“

Daedalus has a new WM!

On Saturday the 3rd of October, we had pur annual Installation Ceremony.

W Bro Ade Moseley was installed into the Masters Chair by outgoing WM W Bro Nick Pym.

A wonderful ceremony from start to finish, bringing the usual joy found in our meetings, with many brethren being invested into new offices in the Lodge, ready to keep the happiness and brotherly love going on for the next Masonic year.

The Lodge was honoured to have many visitors for this meeting, notably W Bro Keith Griffiths, the official representative of the RWPG Master of Lincolnshire. He was assisted and joined by W Bro Mark Ramm ProvAGDC. The incoming master had also invited many personal guests, all of whom brought a fabulous energy to the Festive Board, especially the guest organist!

Here’s to a great year in the chair, WM!
