"This Property was the perfect spot for exploring Port Eynon and the surrounding area. When we arrived the property was spotless, probably the cleanest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The property had all the amenities that you would need for a home away from home and a great selection of added extras like toys and beach toys if needed. We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely return." Thomas & Family

Morning coffee☕, then a short wander down to the sand. Port Eynon Beach Cottage puts you close to the sea, with a bright, comfortable base to come back to when you have had your fill of salt air and ice cream.

Whether it is rockpooling with the kids, a dip in the sea or a quiet walk along the shore, you can leave the car and just stroll from the door. The cottage is just two minutes from the beach.

Evenings are for simple dinners, a board game and relaxing.

Stay closer to home at Oxwich View Cottage.

"We had a fab break at Oxwich View Cottage! We booked very last minute but Debbie was really communicative from the start and throughout! The place was spotless when we arrived and had all the facilities you need. Great location 2 minutes to the beach the pub across the road and easy access to other beach locations most of which are dog friendly which is great for us! We wouldn’t hesitate returning - thanks again."

I recently read that large cottages like Ivy Cottage are not easy to find.

We are now fully booked for July & August this year. So, if you don't want to miss out next year during the summer months or perhaps you are looking for accommodation for a special celebration don't forget to book early!

This large comfortable cottage on the Gower is perfect for large or multi-generational families who want to stay under one roof without feeling on top of each other. Easy with 20 different rooms if you include the toilets!!

Ivy Cottage is the combination of two cottages together; cleverly designed with a connecting door on the first floor and gates in the garden helping the space feel as one.

Lots of space to be together and plenty of rooms for quiet time!

You benefit from two toilets, two kitchens, two living areas, two dining areas, two bathrooms, three ensuites and seven bedrooms! Not forgetting the outside space!

You are just a couple of minutes from the beach and local amenities, so it is easy to pop out for a paddle, an ice cream or a few bits from the shop, then wander back to relax.

We have gained a few new followers so I thought I would let you see the faces behind the names and apologies in advance to all those who have met us in person that need to look at us again 😆

It's nice to put a face to a name.

We are Julie & Jon and Dean & Deb and between us we run Hael Farm Cottages.

We are a family run business offering self-catering cottages on the Gower Peninsula. Ideal for a romantic break, multi-generational family holidays or a peaceful getaway with your furry friend.

All of our cottages are great locations for exploring the Gower.

Welcoming guests since 2009; Jon & Julie live at Hael Farm Cottage and started the business over 17 years ago with Hael Farm Cottage in Southgate and Oxwich View, Port Eynon Beach and Ivy Cottage in Port Eynon.

Dean & I took over the Port Eynon Cottages five years ago and more recently (2023) added Whitebridge Cottage.

We all still work closely together and if you find yourself talking to one of us about a cottage we don’t “look after”; no problem we can point you in the right direction and offer you advice/availability on all our cottages.

We hope between us (and our amazing support team) we can make your stay one you won’t forget; with guests returning for their 15th year last week! we must be doing something right.

Sadly the one thing we can’t guarantee is the weather 🌦️☀
