It's never a "sexy" topic but it's that time of year again when the BIG folder comes out.

We like to keep the properties looking the best that they can, so EVERY guest has the same experience. We also like to keep you safe ❤

So we start the maintenance lists (for those jobs which can't be dealt with during the busy season), inventories (I love counting cutlery!), assessments including health & safety assessments and fire risk assessments, chimneys swept, fire alarms checked, electrical inspections and pat testing, boiler services, reviewing policies and our own website and the various platforms that we use to share our wonderful cottages! oh I forgot pricing and updating of future calendars and making sure our amazing repeat guests have got their "dates" saved for 2028 - yes it all starts from now!

Let me know if we should anything to our list? I might regret asking that!

🏠 Hael Farm Cottage
"What a beautiful place this little gem is with amazing views of the countryside. Southgate and Pennard were lovely places to walk and spend some time with lots of amenities. We had pizza at Pobbles Pizza sitting on a bench looking out to sea which was delicious! Jon was an excellent host and gave us some good places to go! With a 12 year old and a 15 year old it worked really well and we enjoyed every moment of our holiday."

Ready to book your summer stay for 2027? We are ready to take your bookings 🤗

If you are a multi generational family or just a large group, make sure you start planning and reserving your accommodation now to avoid disappointment. Whether you book with us or someone else book early before it's too late.

We would be happy to share Ivy Cottage (📍Port Eynon) with you. Sleeping 14 and ideally located just a two minute walk from the beach, making summer holidays with the extended family a breeze.

We also have smaller cottages in the village of Port Eynon (sleeping 6 and 8) with everything you need on the doorstep.

Alternatively, looking for something a little remote? Then look no further than Hael Farm Cottage 📍Southgate. You feel like you are in the middle of the country with the added bonus of the coastal path on your doorstep and local amenities just a short walk into the village. The best of both worlds 🌍
