My name is Karen and I am the owner of Karen’s Covers and Events.
I don’t normally put my face on here but I thought it was nice to see the face behind the emails and phone calls!
My background has always been events. I organised large exhibitions and events for 10 years at venues like the NEC, Earls Court and Olympia.
I then decided to start my own wedding business back in 2009 after having my first child. It meant I could work from home (when working from home wasn’t a thing!)
Things were very different then as social media as it is today didn’t exist so I relied solely on my website and word of mouth. Luckily I was super busy and juggled life as a mum of 3 children with my business.
Originally I mainly did chair covers but now as fashions and trends have changed I am doing more than that and offer full decor packages.
