A sunny weekend is the forecast and where better to be than by the sea ?

If you can only manage to escape away for 1 night , this weekend we have one night stays available in Sea Watch , Mumbles . So come for a night out in Mumbles , or come for a romantic night away from the kids ( or unbroken sleep 😴 😆) , come and enjoy the sea view from Sea Watch , or come and enjoy some beach walks .

Hello October 🎃

I haven’t decided what I’m doing with our pumpkins yet this year but here’s a few of my previous endeavours.

We have 2 weekends available in October (9-11th & 16-18th) and there are plenty of October themed family things going on at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees , Will’s Farm , Mumblespier and The Gower Heritage centre to name just a few.

Of course the beaches and coastline are stunning all year round and I love a cycle around the bay ( you can hire them on the prom ) when the trees are turning orange or a walk through Clyne Gardens to see all the autumn colours 🍁🍂

We have some mid week availability too if you aren’t tied to school hours .

We have rare weekend availability in October for an impulsive getaway ! Come with family or come with friends - our 3 bedroom house is ideal for multigenerational family stays , couples or friends ( the beds can be split in to twins )

The house is rated 5 star by Visit Wales . It has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 , 2 bathrooms , a sea view lounge , TVs in every bedroom and the kitchen too. Ideally situated for walking to restaurants, shops , cafes . Opposite the promenade. So many lovely beaches nearby & also lots of golf courses .

If you have preschool children and aren’t tied to school holidays , Autumn/ winter on the Gower beaches is great with almost the beach to yourselves. Giving your children the chance to run and run & expend all their energy. The excitement of finding a crab or “snail” ( periwinkle) in a rock pool and wondering if a whale left it there . The anticipation creeping into a cave in case a mermaid is sleeping inside it. Learning that barnacles are a whole housing estate for little sea creatures with their front doors firmly shut till the tide comes in . Beach days really are the best days . Come and make some memories and have a whole lot of fun with your preschoolers while you are still not yet tied to the school holiday time table.

Our 3 bedroom seafront house in Mumbles is perfect for family and multigenerational holidays .

Swansea & Gower have the second greatest tidal difference IN THE WORLD!!
So when our guests said they didn’t like Caswell , it was too small , bless them they must have gone at high tide. It can be great to watch waves crashing in at high tide in stormy weather and sea foam like a foam party but personally, I prefer it when the tide is right out. My grandson & I enjoyed exploring caves, finding crabs in rock pools , watching the kites, building sand castles , running and chasing each other on all that sand. Afterwards we had hot chocolate and welsh cakes at the cafe.

If all this sounds idyllic , we have a few nights available in half term and we have some weekends left between now and Christmas ( and plenty of mid week availability) Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, Sea Watch has 3 bedrooms and is perfect for multi generational stays ( in fact that’s what our summers are usually fully booked with - 3 generations)

Sea Watch is rated 5 star by and not only is it fully equipped with everything you might need ( including buckets & spades) the decor is beautiful too. Oh & did I mention our fabulous sea view right across Swansea bay ?!

When you are looking for a coastal getaway and it says “sea view “ how good is that sea view ? Because when we say “sea view “ we don’t exaggerate. The sea is right opposite SeaWatch Mumbles Holiday House !

So if you enjoy gazing out to sea , you can see it from the lounge , the bedroom and the kitchen . You can stroll across the road and have a swim or a paddle board ( bring your own or hire one ) or you can just sit with a cuppa and watch the boats and sea activities.
