It’s wedding day!!! Can’t believe we’ve been hosting for two and a half years now and today is our first guest wedding! So special having the Stableyard used as a bridal suite and super convenient for the very lovely where the nuptials are taking place. Huge congrats to the bride and groom, may married life treat you well!

Spring has definitely sprung at the Stableyard. Just at the river in nearby Chester enjoying the sunshine and looking forward to welcoming all our spring and summer guests to enjoy the sun here in beautiful Cheshire.

DIY Day. The headboard in the master bedroom was getting a bit wobbly (turns out my original design not 100% practical - who knew?!?! So it was back to the drawing board to create a much sturdier version - and happy it looks pretty good too. As ever, team work makes the dream work - in other words, I do the dreaming and Marc makes it happen! Happy Friday!

A very happy new year to all our wonderful Stableyard guests. In 2023 we started hosting direct via air bnb and it’s been so lovely dealing with our guests direct and trying to make every stay extra special. It’s also been great to see so many lovely people returning and even making a Stableyard get together an annual event. Looking forward to another fantastic year in 2024! X

Lovely frosty day at the Stableyard. Putting up the Christmas deccies tomorrow - can’t wait! Feeling very restrained that I’m waiting until December. We got the tree from again this year so we can be confident it’ll be nice and full all the way through to New Year! Hope our December guests like it 🤞🏻

Our first weekend without guests since March can only mean 1 thing - painting!!! Spent the weekend giving the place a fresh lick of paint - including repainting the stairs (and went and left my phone upstairs before doing so! 🙄) So important to keep the Stableyard looking s***k and span so very guest gets that newly renovated first stay feeling.
